Question by Rara-gal: Why are plasma sreen TV’s called “Plasma”?
Sorry, I’m proabaly just being stupid, but still, is it the name of the guy who invented them, or is “plasma” a special name for something!?

Plasma TVs uses a matrix of cells, each cell is responsible for the creation of a single pixel on the screen. The cells are filled with plasma gas that, when exposed to electric charge creates a visible color and intensity.
