i mean, the mac pro has 2 x 2.8 ghz quad intel xeon, thats really powerful, but ive heard its no good for gaming. but surely with that processor, if you have a good graphics card like the 280 GTX, surely that would make a good gaming computer? ive heard not… why is that?

i jsut know that the difference is intel i7 has hyper threading, which means it can go up to 8 processors isntead of 4, unlike the i5. but do high end games today really use more than 4 processors?
