I am not familiar with ATIs naming system… is the HD4650 better than the 8600GT? Which nVidia cards would you say are similar in terms of performance with the HD4650? I have a 1GB 8600GT, should I change it for a 1GB HD4650?

Can the card run games such as COD4/Bioshock/Unreal Tournament etc? I don’t really care about graphics, rather I care about whether newer games will run smoothly on medium->low settings. I overclocked my video card and when I play games it goes to 70-75°C. Without overclock it is about 65-70°C. When doing regular things it is about 60°C with or without overclock. Are these temperatures normal because I don’t want to break my video card. Also what is the maximum temperature for the 8400gs? Thanks!

I have a Sony Laptop, I recently upgraded to Windows 7. The driver causes a crash when the laptop is used to access Second Life. I am using the Emerald 3rd party viewer. The laptop starts to buzz before it crashes. Do you think its the driver or is the motherboard about to fry?
