The brick in my living room is newly exposed and probably 100 years old. Can it support an lcd tv? If scraped, it does dust or crumble very slightly.

I have a 26″ widescreen lcd tv that I want to mount on my bedroom wall, it will be 9.5 feet away from where I plan on sitting to view it.
