what’s the difference between a nvidia graphics card and a intel gma graphics card?
what is the difference between a nvidia graphics card to a intel gma 950 graphics card? because in the bios you can increase the video memory to 128 or 256mb. does that mean all the games you can play in nvidia you could also play in intel gma?

made by different companies, intel gma ones are integrated into the motherboard
they serve the same function- to display graphics on your screen.
I would avoid the integrated graphics for anything but the most basic computer use, especially if you plan on gaming

No. The Intel card is absolute crap. It’s like comparing a Ford Pinto to a Porsche. The simple fact that you can change the video memory means that it’s not dedicated RAM, which means it sucks.

Intel uses shared memory and is vastly worse than a Nvidia card.
No you can’t play the same games on both.

nVidia is a better brand. (Some may disagree) If you want INTENSE Graphics try the NVidia GX280 – Requires a high end machine

There’s no such thing as an intel gma card, because intel gma means integrated graphics. Increasing the video ram is only going to decrease from the system ram.

wait… waaa?
Ok… Intel basically is graphics build into the motherboard… which SUCKS for playing most games…
Nvidia is an graphics card maker, which focuses on graphics… but nvidia has both crappy and exellent graphics cards…

intel gma 950 graphics card is special type of on board display
n nvidia graphics card is a categorize form of video card
there are sevelar nvidia video card ….
like 5200 / 5700 / 6200 / 6600 / 6800……..7950 ../ 8800 [avalable in LE GT ultra..or special edition like turbo cache or factory OC and on board / stand alone ]
also intel produce video display …..but they r on bord
now the thing is video memory
some video card is running with there self memory [varies ...]
soem video card [turbo cache] run using PC memory
so more u set video memory game performance is getting more

intel found on the northbridge nvidia found in the pci express slot, gma uses system ram nvidia uses dedicated ram on the graphics card, gma has pixel shader 2.0 nvidia has pixel shader 4.0(depends on the particular card though), gma uses cpu on motherboard to process graphics data nvidia uses dedicated graphics processor attached to the graphics card…..what i am tryin to say is that nvidia blows that gma out of the water…..big tyme!!!!!!!
